Step3. Before using the extension, you will need to activate it in your Gmail account. When you will click on the new tab, a new window will be opened into the browser and will ask you to create your docTrackr account.

How to track and remotely delete?

Step1. Click on the docTrackr icon in the Gmail account and click on the blue link on the bottom of the pop-up window. This will open another tab in which you will be presented with your dashboard, carrying details of the PDF attachments and their recipients.

Step2. Explore the dashboard to have a view on the list of files that you have secured using docTrackr. A gear icon is located on the right-hand side of each file and it allows you to click on Disable or Profile option. The Disable option will remotely disable the PDF document while the Profile will show the documents activity.

Step3. (Optional) You can use the extension to send your email notifications when a recipient opens, prints or fails to open a document. To activate this feature, just click on the Notifications tab located under the Profile window and select any or all of these options.
